Each EuroMillions ticket consists of 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 bonus numbers from 1 to 12. To play, you simply need to select your chosen numbers, choose how many lines you want to play, and then purchase your ticket. You can also choose the “Random” or “Quickplay” option to have these numbers chosen for you based on a completely random selection.
Your EuroMillions ticket will be valid for the forthcoming draw, after which you will need to purchase another ticket if you want to renew those numbers. You can also choose to play the same numbers for 4 consecutive draws, for a month, or even for a year. There is a maximum jackpot of €190 million on EuroMillions. The Euromillions jackpot has been reached on several occasions in the past, but it cannot go any higher. Every time the EuroMillions jackpot reaches this amount and is still not won, all additional prize funds are used to bolster the secondary prizes and this continues until the jackpot is won.
Typically, because of the amount of publicity that a maximum jackpot gets and the additional ticket purchases that it generates, the EuroMillions jackpot doesn’t stay at €190 million for very long before it is claimed.
Every EuroMillions line has a 1 in 139 million chance of winning the jackpot. The only way you can increase these odds when you play EuroMillions is to purchase more tickets. Although big, these odds are actually smaller than several other major jackpots. They are less than half the odds found on major US lotteries like Mega Millions and Powerball, and they are also considerably smaller than the SuperEnaLotto, an Italian national lottery that has jackpot odds of 1 in 622 million.
The second prize on the EuroMillions returns odds of just under 1 in 7 million, while the third highest prize has odds of 1 in 3.1 million. The odds of winning any prize on the EuroMillions are 1 in 13, which means that roughly 1 in 13 tickets will be a winner.

There are two EuroMillions draws a week, one on Tuesday and one on Friday. Both of these take place between 20:45 and 21:00 local time in Paris, France, with tickets available for sale up to half an hour before the draw takes place.
The EuroMillions numbers are available online as soon as the draw has taken place, but anyone who purchases their EuroMillions ticket through MultiLotto can choose to be notified when they win.
