Calgary man ready to speed up his retirement plans after $1.000.000 win

Before deciding if they want to retire early or not, lottery winners must carefully weigh the pros and cons laid in front of them and Kenneth Yates knows this best. After scooping an impressive $1.000.000 windfall, the lucky Calgary man will finally be able to leave his job and enjoy this new-found fortune. Would you do the same if you became a millionaire? Play SuperEnaLotto to find out – a life-changing €150.700.000 jackpot is up for grabs!

Mr. Yates snatched $1.000.000 thanks to a Lotto 6/49 ticket he purchased all the way back on  July 30th at the Shefield & Sons store located at North Hill Centre. However, it took him almost two months to officially come forward because he wanted to think things through before collecting the money.

“I told myself, ‘Don't be rash, don’t be hasty.’ I knew I had to get my act together and figure out what I was going to do before claiming my prize,” explained the man.

After scanning the ticket, Yates thought his eyes were playing tricks on him and he was in need of some assistance before being100% sure that what happening was real.

“I didn’t have my glasses on so the screen looked weird and I asked the retailer to check the ticket for me – it was a winner!” recalled the Calgary resident, who intends to put the money towards retirement. He’s been planning to quit his job for a while and the $1.000.000 win provided him with an amazing opportunity to “bump the date up a little bit”.
