$1.000.000 lottery winner to buy a new home big enough for his whole family

The best part of winning the lottery is getting to share this fortunate moment with the ones you love the most, and John Miller intends to do it – in a brand-new house! After scooping $1.000.000, the lucky man from Timmins will buy a home that’s big enough for his whole family. Follow in his footsteps after the next Powerball draw – play now and a $100.000.000 jackpot could end up in your hands!

Mr. Miller won $1.000.000 in the Lotto 6/49 draw on November 30th, with a ticket he purchased at the Lyne’s Variety on Toke Street in Timmins. His two daughters were present when he checked a couple of tickets at a local mall and witnessed one of the luckiest moments in their father’s life.

“We all went to the retailer to find out more about my $1.000 win. The terminal froze and I saw ‘Big Winner’ on the screen, but I didn’t see a prize amount. OLG called and explained what was happening. The retailer then told me I won $1.000.000! My daughters and I just stared at each other, read the validation slip and saw the number but it was so unbelievable, we really didn’t say much. We left the mall in a big hurry,” recalled Mr. Miller.

Like many major winners before him, he has two things on the top of his wish list – a new home and a new car – a pickup truck, in his case, because “it’s great for driving in the winter and fun in the summer”, as he explained.

“I am also thinking about buying a new home. Big enough for my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom I plan to celebrate and share with,” said Mr. Miller.
