Players from France and Ireland share €131.000.000 Euromillions prize

Two lucky punters from France and Ireland brought an end to a run of eleven Euromillions rollovers this Friday night. They will share an incredible €131.000.000 jackpot, the first Euromillions prize of the year. SuperEnaLotto still hasn’t produced a jackpot winner since the start of 2016 – play now to win around €40.000.000!

The winning Euromillions numbers drawn on January 29th were 1, 5, 23, 29 and 32 with Lucky Stars 1 and 7. They were all matched by the two ticket holders from France and Ireland, who will take home around €66.000.000 each. Six players - three from the UK, one from France, one from Spain and one from Portugal - are now €408.000 richer after matching the five main numbers and one Lucky Star, while an additional five players matched the five main numbers to net €163.000 each.

The French ticket holder is this country’s 79th jackpot winner, bolstering their nation’s standing as the most successful participating Euromillions country. The largest Euromillions prize ever scooped by a single player from France was a €169.000.000 jackpot won by an anonymous ticket holder from department Alpes-Maritimes back in November 2012. Ireland produced 8 Euromillions jackpot winners to date, including one anonymous Dublin resident who split €188.000.000 windfall with another punter from Belgium in June 2013.

Unlike Euromillions, Mega Millions didn’t add a gigantic fortune to anyone’s bank account this Friday night.  The winning line was 20, 28, 49, 51 and 52 with the gold Mega Ball 6, but since no one guessed it correctly the jackpot rolled up to $63.000.000. However, one Kansas resident matched the five main numbers and won an impressive $1.000.000 prize.

Once again, Powerball is offering the largest jackpot in the world – choose your lucky numbers and $112.000.000 may come your way!
