Record-breaking National Lottery jackpot worth £35.100.000 has been claimed

Only a day after a mysterious ticket holder snapped up a £35.100.000 National Lottery jackpot, they’ve already came forward to claim this life-changing windfall. It wasn’t revealed if the prize was claimed by an individual or a syndicate, but one thing is for sure – they’re currently sitting at the top of the National Lottery’s rich list after scooping the largest prize in the game’s history won by a single ticket holder.

This incredible cash reward was won in the National Lottery’s Lotto draw on April 6th and the numbers that enabled it were 15, 17, 31, 41, 50 and 57.  Lottery officials didn’t reveal any details about the winner, not even the name of the store where the golden ticket was purchased.

“We’re delighted this ticket holder has come forward to claim their prize so they can now begin to enjoy their life-changing win,” said a National Lottery spokesperson in regards to this historic victory.

The record for the largest National Lottery jackpot was previously held by two winners who shared a £66.000.000 cash reward this January. One half of the prize was claimed by a player who decided to stay anonymous, while David and Carol Martin collected the other half.

“I’ve dreamt of this moment many times but when it actually came, it was a just total shock. We were both stunned into silence. I’ve talked about winning and what I would do so many times, but now it’s actually here my mind’s gone blank,” said Mr. Martin few months ago when he collected the astonishing £33.000.000 windfall along with his wife.
