November started with a bang for one lotto enthusiast from the UK who hit the Euromillions jackpot this Friday night. British punter was lucky enough to match all the winning numbers drawn in this game and walk away with an astonishing windfall worth £76.369.000
Euromillions line drawn on November 2nd consisted of the number 5, 15, 17, 37 and 44 with Lucky Stars 7 and 11. It was matched by one British player, but they weren’t the only person with a smile on their face this Friday night. Additional two ticket holders from France and Spain matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win almost €617.000 each. The draw on November 2nd also produced 13 winners of a Match 5 prize – including three in the UK, France and Spain, two in Belgium and one in Portugal.
Even though they collected a pretty impressive sum, latest Euromillions winner from the UK isn’t the richest Briton to hit the jackpot this year. An anonymous player claimed a £121.300.000 prize by matching all the winning numbers on April 24th. This also happens to be the third-biggest lottery windfall ever collected in this country.
Surprisingly enough, this wasn’t the largest Euromillions jackpot offered this year. That title still belongs to a £155.500.000 prize shared by players from Spain and the UK on February 23rd. Once again, British winner opted for anonymity after collecting their £77.700.000 share. National Lottery officials protected their privacy by refusing to share any personal information about the winner, but their senior winners’ advisor Andy Carter said it’s been great to help this ticket holder celebrate their life-changing victory.
