Where is the Cash4Life Draw Held?
The Cash4Life draw is held at the headquarters of the New Jersey Lottery. They are the flagship lottery organizer for the lottery and were the first to join along with New York.

Cash4Life uses a format that is similar to the one employed by both the Mega Millions and Powerball in that its jackpot can be paid out in installments or as a cash-lump sum, with the latter option paying out less money overall but allowing the winner to get it all straightaway.
The jackpot is always $1,000 a day for life, which adds up to $365,000 a year and is paid out based on the measuring life of the winner (to a minimum of 20 years). Players can also opt for a $7 million cash payment, which is what most of them choose to do and what is usually the best option. The jackpot is paid out when players match 5 Main Numbers and 1 Cash Ball and if there are multiple winners it is shared.
Players who win the second highest prize can win $1,000 a week for life (minimum 20 years) which adds up to $52,000 a year or over $1 million over the course of twenty years. This amount is won by every player who matches 5 Main Numbers and is not shared.
